Been training here for several months now and I am so happy to have found this gym after trying so many other Muay Thai gyms. I wanted to wait a bit before leaving a review so I could evaluate better, and so far, around 3 months in, I can say that this is the best gym I’ve trained in so far!
The place has a positive vibe, it’s clean, well-kept, the staff are all pleasant, they have a lot of coaches to choose from so you can explore who among them suits your training needs best, they have equipment for supplementary training, and their operating hours are very convenient, opening as early as 7:00 which is just perfect for me to get a workout in before I report to work.
What I like best about this gym is that you get exceptional quality training from the best krus for a very budget-friendly rate. Unlike other gyms I’ve been to where the coaches vanish for long periods or have their noses buried in their phones during the session or just aren’t paying attention to their students– the coaches here closely supervise and guide you every step of the way.
Also, unlike other gyms I’ve been to that have inattentive coaches, charge a steep price, and expect you out instantly when the hour is up or sometimes even before one hour has passed—some even fine you for staying a bit longer—here, the krus and staff even encourage you to train extra after your main session, and you are always welcome to train more afterwards by asking your coach to give you circuit, exercises, or drills, etc. (or all of the above)(which they customarily do—they usually will ask if you still have time to do supplementary training). Though of course, if the coach has another student right after, you’ll be doing these largely unsupervised, though they give careful instructions if it’s your first time to do the supplementary exercises and you can always check with them if you have questions.
Overall, if you’re the type who is serious about learning martial arts and is willing to commit to it long-term (but aren’t really among the more well-off), this is the gym for you. That is definitely me, so I signed up for their yearly membership, and in the short time I’ve trained here, I have learnt and grown a lot, and I am excitedly looking forward to keep on improving and growing in my chosen martial art. So…
Thank you, FIST Gym, for giving this lost nak muay a home. ??

This is an updated review where I edited out my previous one and just want to post an update. I had a little hiccup with one of the staff due to a misunderstanding, but the management (including the head coach and even the owners) promptly helped resolve the issue in the kindest, most compassionate, and respectful way. It was such a huge relief, and with how considerately they handled the situation, I felt all my worries and apprehension about the matter instantly disappear.
This has only served as yet another reason why this gym stands out to me. This proved that they don’t only welcome you, they take care of you too, and I speak from experience when I say that these days, that’s really something special.
